The White Lotus Is Having A Major Shake Up For Season 4 – And We Can't Wait

Parker Posey, who fans speculate could returnThe next season of The White Lotus could be set to look very different, thanks to a major decision by the show’s creators.A long-running feature of the award-winning show is its opulent hotels, where a large amount of the drama goes down between guests, to be enjoyed in equal measure alongside the property porn. Up until now, the show has exclusively taken place in Four Seasons hotels, but Variety is reporting that the next series will take a different direction as HBO hasn’t renewed its marketing partnership with the hotel chain.The White Lotus’ much-hyped fourth series is set to unfold in France, and while HBO has previously said exact locations were still a work in progress, it looks like creators have been honing in on Paris and the French Riviera. Given those locations, it seems like we’re still in for some luxe hotels and ill-behaved wealthy people aka all the good stuff that got us hooked in previous series set across Hawaii, Sicily and Thailand.While we’re yet to have official word on anything like who may star in the next series of The White Lotus, it hasn’t stopped fans from speculating, with some theorising that past cast members like Parker Posey could be set to return.Parker appeared in season three of the show alongside breakout star Aimee Lou Wood and established names like Jason Isaacs, Carrie Coon, Sam Rockwell and Leslie Bibb.Parker PoseyMeanwhile, Jon Gries remains the only White Lotus cast member to have appeared in all three seasons, with the show refreshing the bulk of its roster of actors every season. Despite scooping an impressive 23 Emmy Award nominations, season three of the show was widely overlooked on the awards night itself, with just one award for composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer in the Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music category.Speaking of which, The White Lotus theme music is also due a switch-up after it was confirmed that Cristobal will not be returning to the show following a public fallout with creator Mike White.
