This Budget-Friendly K-Beauty Glossy Lip Tint Is A Staple In My Makeup Bag – Here's Why

But when I discovered a lip colour that not only looks and feels great, but keeps my wallet happy, too? I’m telling you there’s no better feeling.When I heard about Rom&nd’s Juicy Lasting Tint, I immediately ordered the darkest colour I could find (the shade Dark Coconut, in fact) and put it to the test. That was over a year ago now, and ever since, my makeup bag has never been without it. With the moisturising sheen of a gloss, the bold colour of a lipstick, and the staying power of a stain, you get so much bang for your buck with this tint.It’s easy to apply, and really forgiving – feel free to wear a lip liner with it if you like, but if you’re on the go and want something you can apply in a flash, this does the trick. Just use your finger to tidy up any errant edges, and you’re good to go. Is it the glossiest gloss, or the ‘stainiest’ stain I’ve ever tried? No, but it absolutely does what I need it to do.It also manages to avoid some of the pitfalls of both of those products – it’s not too sticky like lots of glosses are, and it doesn’t stain to the point where any mistakes you make when you apply it are with you for the rest of your day. If you want to wipe it off and start again, you certainly can. One bone I do have to pick with it is that the colour swatch photos on Amazon are not, in my opinion, totally reliable representations of how the colour turns out on my lips. When I tried the shade Deep Sangria, for instance, which looks more plum in some of the photos, it came out as a more aggressive shade of red with blue undertones. It doesn’t suit me at all. And even though the Dark Coconut shade looks, in some product photos, like a mauve-brown; on me, it is as you see in these photos, a warm, verging-on-blood red. This also happens to be among my favourite lip shades to wear, so it certainly hasn’t stopped me from ordering it time and time again.All in all, it’s the ideal low-maintenance product for giving high-impact colour.
