This Product Is Meant To Plump Your Lips Instantly And Over Time – Here Are My Honest Thoughts

Oh, and FYI — prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication. When I heard about RoC’s Lip Volumiser, and how it’s been ‘inspired’ by lip injections, I’ll admit I was instantly intrigued. Yes, I know I already have a pretty decent-sized pout, but more is more, after all. I’m not looking for a huge boost, but a bit of plumping never goes amiss. So I decided to give it a go.The RoC Derm Correxion Lip Volumizer with Hyaluronic Acid was developed with the input of dermatologists and plastic surgeons. So how does it work? RoC’s Pro-Collagen Peptide is meant to smooth your skin while its Hyaluronic Acid Filling Spheres are intended to volumise when they come into contact with your lips, thus making your mouth look fuller and feel more hydrated. It’s a topical product that you put on like a lip gloss. With that in mind, it wears a lot like a gloss too, in the best way. In addition to a mild tingling feeling, it leaves my lips feeling moisturised and super slick, but not too sticky, for ages – like an oil with substance. I’ve even taken to wearing it with lip liner sometimes, which works a treat. It’s a clear gel-like material that, I suspect, because of the tingling reaction it causes, turns one’s lips a bit pinker too, which is another nice side-effect. As for the Volumizer’s main function, I’ve used it at least twice a day for four weeks now, and I wouldn’t say I’ve spotted much plumping of my lips long-term. However, I definitely do notice a difference within minutes of putting it on, and I absolutely plan to keep using it right up until the last drop. As you can see in the before and after pics, it makes my lips look fuller, and the small lines around my mouth look filled out and way smaller in minutes. The difference might not be astronomical, but considering how easy the RoC Derm Correxion Lip Volumizer is to use, how versatile and wearable it is, and how soft it makes my lips feel, I’d say it’s absolutely worth it. And at £29.99, I’d file it under decently-priced skincare too.
