Thomas Brodie-Sangster's New Christmas Ad Is A Must-See For Love Actually Fans

Thomas Brodie-Sangster brings the nostalgia in the new Google Pixel Christmas advertLove Actually fans are really being spoiled when it comes to this year’s new Christmas adverts.Not only does Waitrose’s new seasonal offering feature Keira Knightley making several nods to the much-loved festive rom-com, the Google Pixel phone has now shared its own festive campaign for 2025, which sees former child star Thomas Brodie-Sangster recreating several of his most iconic scenes from the film.Unveiled on Monday, the Google Pixel ad begins with Thomas – who played Liam Neeson’s on-screen son Sam in Love Actually – revisiting iconic locations from the film in what he quips is his way of “giving back” to the movie’s fans.However, it later turns out that he’s not quite as recognisable for Love Actually as he first thought, more than 20 years after its release.Check out the ad for yourself below – and look out for an appearance from another famous face from Love Actually’s star-studded cast:Thomas enthused: “I had great fun stepping back into the world of Love Actually – it’s very special how the film still resonates with so many people 20 years later.”Since appearing in Love Actually as a child actor, Thomas went on to appear in the Maze Runner film series, played Jojen Reed in Game Of Thrones and made a cameo in the Star Wars movie The Force Awakens.More recently, he appeared in the hit Netflix miniseries The Queen’s Gambit, played Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren in Danny Boyle’s Pistol and had a pivotal role in the Wolf Hall miniseries The Mirror And The Light.Back in 2015, Thomas and several of his Love Actually co-stars reprised their roles from the original Richard Curtis classic in a Comic Relief reunion special dubbed Red Nose Day Actually.Click here for more of this year’s must-see Christmas ad campaigns in our festive round-up.READ MORE:Feeling Christmassy Yet?
