Travis Kelce Jokes He's Living The 'Pretty Woman' Dream As Taylor Swift's Boyfriend

Travis Kelce is in his “Pretty Woman” era, and he knows it.The Kansas City Chiefs tight end comically compared his whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift to the iconic 1990 rom-com during the latest episode of his “New Heights” podcast with brother Jason Kelce.While reviewing the Julia Roberts and Richard Gere classic for a movie club edition of the show, Jason said he loved how it revealed how people from “different worlds,” be it rich or poor, old or young, experience life differently.“I think throughout the movie they do a good job of saying neither world is better than the other,” ESPN sportscaster said. “They just are different ... and people are really all the same.”While Travis agreed, he said there was one divide “Pretty Woman” didn’t explore.“I think the only way to gauge it is to flip the script,” he said. “I think we need to make ‘Pretty Man.’”“We need to have a CEO billionaire woman be so high-class that she doesn’t know where she’s going, she doesn’t know how to drive a car,” the NFL star mused, referring to Gere’s rich businessman character’s surprising lack of practical skills.Ribbing his brother about the concept, Jason pointed out, “You’re basically living ‘Pretty Man’ right now.”Agreeing, Travis laughed that that must have been why he felt a kinship with Roberts back to when they were at one of Swift’s concerts in 2023.“That’s why when I met Julia, it felt like we were the same person,” he quipped. “She spoke to me in this movie. … I’m just an NFL stripper. That’s it. I’m just an NFL hooker, man.”While Kelce is an all-star athlete, his profile has risen considerably since he began dating pop superstar Swift back in 2023.Talking about being part of Swift’s world last April on “New Heights,” he said, “It’s fun, man.
