Tropical Storm Isaias Forms Near Mexico, Expected to Become Hurricane

Tropical Storm Isaias has formed off eastern Mexico and is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane before reaching the US Gulf Coast later this week. It is currently located about 285 miles west of Progreso, Mexico, with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph.
