Turkey's Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced a large-scale operation targeting illegal betting activities before the World Cup final. Authorities identified 6,314 bank accounts used for illicit transactions and initiated measures to block them. Additionally, 19 financial entities linked to illegal betting sites were uncovered, leading to legal proceedings against 23 suspects.
