Turkey's First Astronaut Alper Gezeravcı Promoted to Brigadier General

Turkey's first astronaut, Alper Gezeravcı, has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General. The decision was made during the Supreme Military Council (YAŞ) meeting and he will assume his new role starting August 30.
