Putin will commit demonstrative killings to maintain pressure on Ukraine and Europe, as well as to humiliate diplomatic efforts.“That is precisely why we are seeking assistance to put an end to the killings. That is why reliable security guarantees are required. That is why Russia should not be rewarded for its participation in this war. The war must be ended. And it is Moscow that must hear the word: ‘Stop’.”Seven people were killed and dozen injured in a drone strike in Kharkiv, with the youngest victim being a one-and-a-half year old girl.A further three died following a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia. This was a demonstrative and cynical Russian strike. It is why we have always said there is one person who is able to end this war at any moment.“President Putin has the choice to roll back his tanks and stop the bloodshed. President Putin has never been serious about peace.”His remarks were at odds with a statement posted on Truth Social by President Trump on Sunday night in which he piled pressure on Zelenskyy to end the war.He said: “President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight. Remember how it started. No getting back Obama given Crimea (12 years ago, without a shot being fired!), and NO GOING INTO NATO BY UKRAINE.”The PM’s spokesman also insisted that the UK government continues to support Ukraine’s attempts to join Nato.He said: “Ukraine is on an irreversible path. Russia cannot have a veto on Ukraine’s pathway to Nato.“Our focus is on a just and lasting peace in Ukraine and we welcome President Trump’s efforts to secure that.”Related...Trump Piles Pressure On Zelenskyy To End The War Putin Started In Bizarre Truth Social RantUK Reveals Deadly Reason Why Putin Wants Ukraine To Hand Over Unoccupied Land To End WarTrump Performs Major U-Turn As He Urges Zelenskyy To Do A 'Deal' With Putin To End The War
