UNESCO Adds Normandy D-Day Beaches and Mount Olympus to World Heritage List
UNESCO has added the D-Day landing beaches in Normandy, France, and Mount Olympus in Greece to its World Heritage List. The designations were approved during a committee meeting in South Korea.
