Victoria Beckham Surprises Fans With Impromptu Spice Girls Performance

Victoria and Cruz Beckham share a duet in an Instagram videoVictoria Beckham may have made it clear that she has no intention of reuniting with her Spice Girls bandmates any time soon, but she’s also proved there’s still a little bit of Posh Spice in there somewhere.On Wednesday, the former-pop-star-turned-fashion-designer appeared in an impromptu video alongside her youngest son, aspiring musician Cruz Beckham, who could be seen playing the guitar as they duetted on a ballad.And the song in question? Oh, only a certain Spice Girls number one by the name of Viva Forever.View this post on InstagramIn the clip posted on Cruz’s Instagram page, he plays along with a recording of the Spice Girls classic, while his mum joins in on the verses.Even Cruz’s dad Sir David Beckham got in on the fun, singing along with Melanie C’s ad libs over the final chorus… although that did somewhat bring the proceedings to a bit of a halt.“Sorry I ruined it…” the former footballer joked in the comments.As a side-note… can we please stop perpetuating this myth that Victoria can’t carry a tune? A powerhouse vocalist she is not, but this clip proves she could still get up there and give us a Spice Girls number if she wanted to (even though, as the case may be, she definitely does not).Cruz last led the original line-up of all five Spice Girls in a rendition of another of their hit singles during a performance at Victoria’s 50th birthday, which certainly brought a smile to fans’ faces when footage made its way online.However, while Victoria recently claimed the idea of a Spice Girls reunion was “tempting”, particularly after going to see Oasis live earlier this year, she’s just not sure she could make the time for it given the other ventures she has going on.“I love the idea of it,” she told SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen, before quipping: “I mean, I don’t know if I could even still sing.
