The cast of Love Is Blind UK pictured during last year's reunion specialWith the current season of Love Is Blind UK once again becoming one of the year’s most talked-about reality shows thanks to its many chaotic twists and turns, we figured now was an opportune moment to revisit last year’s contestants to see which of them are still together.The inaugural season of the British dating show saw a total of six couples make it all the way to the altar, with three of them going as far as saying “I do”, after getting engaged merely weeks earlier without clapping eyes on each other until afterwards.So, which of them have gone their separate ways, and which are joining the likes of the US series’ Lauren and Cameron or Amber and Barnett by staying together long after the “experiment” came to an end.Here’s a quick update on the season one cast while we wait for the last part of the second series…Which Love Is Blind UK couples are still together?Of the three couples who said “I do” on their Love Is Blind wedding days, two pairs are still together.The first, unsurprisingly, is Jasmine and Bobby, who were undoubtedly the easiest to root for of all of last year’s pairings.Bobby and Jasmine during last year's Love Is BlindHe may not have won her mum over before the wedding, but he certainly managed to get everyone else on side, famously ending their big day with a sing-a-long of his “hit” song Body Is A Dancer.In fact, the couple are currently expecting their first child together, after making no secret of their hopes to start a family during the reunion special last year. Honestly, it’s rare to say this about two people who found love on a British dating show, but good for them!View this post on InstagramA post shared by Jasmine (@thejaycee_)The other couple still together is a bit more of a curveball in that Nicole and Benaiah are still going strong a year after Love Is Blind first aired.Nicole and Benaiah famously didn’t have the easiest start to their love story (in case you’d forgotten, she actually got engaged to someone else before eventually changing her mind), but per Tudum, they’re “still happily married today”.Benaiah said: “Throughout the whole experience it was always a challenge. I always felt on edge. Now I’m very comfortable and confident in us. The year of downtime from everything behind closed doors was really good for us. We needed that to be able to cope with what’s coming our way now, to be honest.” Nicole and Benaiah on the set of Love Is BlindWhat happened to the other Love Is Blind UK couples?The third couple to tie the knot on Love Is Blind were Sabrina and Steven. While on the show it was smooth sailing for the duo, their romance didn’t survive the real world, largely owing to their different locations.“We had different communication styles and expectations of each other, particularly when under pressure. Obviously, the distance, that just magnified everything,” Steven claimed.Sabrina and Steven are no longer togetherSabrina’s version of events differs somewhat, as she claimed: “[On the show] you see him telling my family that he has the flexibility to come and spend time in Belfast.
