You Have To Hand It To Kim Kardashian For Her Reaction To All's Fair Criticism

Kim Kardashian in All's FairKim Kardashian is showing it’s better to be in on the joke with her reaction to the avalanche of criticism aimed at her new show All’s Fair. The reality star’s new legal drama, which sees her playing a divorce lawyer in an all-female firm, was savaged by critics when it debuted last week, and earned itself a rare 0% “rotten” rating on review-aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes (although this has since crept up to a slightly more generous 5%). Fortunately, Kim has taken the criticism in her stride, responding on Instagram with a round-up of some select negative reviews and turning them into an opportunity to plug the series, writing: “Have you tuned in to the most critically acclaimed show of the year!?!?!?”View this post on InstagramAmong Kim’s pick of reviews of All’s Fair is a shot fired at its creator, which claims: “Ryan Murphy is the high priest of tacky, tasteless television, and this year he has outdone himself.”Then, there was this particular reaction from one user on X, where the show has gained legions of fans exactly because of just how awful it is.“[All’s Fair] dares to ask the question ‘Does a show need to be good?’ and the answer is no, it doesn’t. We have legendary actresses here giving the worst performances of their careers, it takes a special kind of talent to pull that kind of inability out of them. Amazeballs,” the screengrab of the post reads. As well as Kim, All’s Fair stars acting legends like Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts and Niecy Nash-Betts who between them own an armful of Emmy Awards, Tony Awards and Academy Award nominations, making the dodgy end product even more baffling. Glenn herself has also been having a laugh at the reaction to the show, drawing on her iconic role as “bunny boiler” Alex Forrest in the film Fatal Attraction. The Oscar nominee posted a sketch of her and her cast members watching over a steaming pot of “critic bunny stew” on Instagram.View this post on InstagramMeanwhile, one of the show’s directors, Anthony Hemingway, has also responded to the criticism, insisting that “you’re not going to please everybody”.Despite bombing with the critics, Kim, Glenn and the cast can keep laughing, as the show has quickly become Hulu Originals’ biggest scripted series premiere in the last three years, racking up over three million views in its first three days alone. How many episodes of All’s Fair are there? For those curious to check out All’s Fair for themselves, the first three episodes are currently streaming on Disney+.If you’re planning to stick with it, there’ll then be new episodes following every Tuesday until 9 December, with the season consisting of nine instalments in total.READ MORE:Thought The Stars Of All's Fair Looked Familiar?
