Berentzen Agrees to Acquisition by US Spirits Giant Sazerac

German spirits maker Berentzen has signed an agreement for a takeover bid by US-based Sazerac, a major player in the spirits industry. The deal would bring Berentzen's Apfelkorn under the same ownership as American whiskey.
