Fed’s Beth Hammack Says Restrictive Rates Needed to Bring Inflation to Target

Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack said interest rates need to remain restrictive to bring inflation back to the central bank’s 2% target. More frequent rate moves could reduce the risk of policy falling behind, she said.
