BT Cuts Nearly 8,000 Jobs as Cost-Saving Programme Continues

BT cut 7,731 jobs since the end of March, bringing its workforce to 90,000, excluding its international business. The company reported a £1.1 billion pre-tax profit for the six months to the end of September.
