Ex Ilva Workers Occupy Departure Area at Genoa Airport Over Layoff Scheme

Workers from the former Ilva plant in Cornigliano occupied the departure area at Genoa Airport to protest a request for increased short-time work affecting 8,600 employees. Passengers were still able to board flights.
