Infineon Opens New Dresden Semiconductor Plant Ahead of Schedule, Creating 1,000 Jobs

Infineon has started operations at its new "Smart Power Fab" in Dresden three months ahead of schedule. The facility is expected to create 1,000 jobs and will produce chips for applications including electric vehicles and data centers.
