Japan to Invest Up to $21 Billion in Two GlobalFoundries Chip Plants in New York
Japan will invest up to $21 billion in two semiconductor plants in New York to be operated by GlobalFoundries. The project is expected to create 27,000 construction and supply-chain jobs and more than 1,000 manufacturing jobs.
