Keir Starmer says he's 'proud' of Angela Rayner after seaside flat controversy – video

The UK prime minister has backed his deputy after she admitted that she underpaid stamp duty on her £800,000 seaside flat. Rayner referred herself to the PM’s ethics adviser, with experts estimating the bill could run to as much as an extra £40,000. In light of the controversy, the leader of the opposition, Kemi Badenoch, asked Starmer why Rayner was still in office. Starmer said: 'She has explained her personal circumstances in detail.'
