Germany Becomes Net Electricity Exporter Again After Nearly Three Years
Germany has become a net exporter of electricity in the first quarter of 2024, exporting 2.5 terawatt-hours more than it imported. This shift, driven largely by renewable energy sources, marks the first time since 2023 that Germany's electricity exports have exceeded imports.
