Pentagon and Lockheed Martin Reach 10-Year Framework Deal for at Least 850 F-35s

The Pentagon and Lockheed Martin agreed on a 10-year framework covering production of at least 850 F-35 fighter jets. The agreement includes a planned investment of at least $7 billion by the company and requires congressional approval and funding to take effect.
