She was 96.To acknowledge the anniversary, William and Kate Middleton visited the Women's Institute in Sunningdale, England, an organization that had a decadeslong relationship with the late queen. Queen Elizabeth became a member of the organization in 1943, before she ascended the throne, according to the WI's website. The Duke of Sussex attends the ceremony annually as a patron of the charity, which supports youth with medical problems and their caregivers.Ahead of the event, Harry visited Queen Elizabeth's burial place at Windsor Castle and laid a wreath of flowers in her memory. The brothers have been strained since Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back as senior royals in 2020. Their relationship fractured further following Harry and Meghan's 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey and the release of Harry's 2023 memoir, "Spare."The brothers were last publicly in the same location at King Charles' coronation in May 2023, though they didn't appear to speak at the event.
