Banco Santander offers $1.9 billion for remaining 10% stake in Brazilian unit

Banco Santander has launched an offer to acquire the remaining 10% of its Brazilian subsidiary for approximately $1.9 billion. The deal, to be paid with new shares, includes a 15% premium and is expected to boost earnings per share from 2028.
