Santander wins UK court battle against AXA over PPI insurance payout

Santander has won a legal challenge against AXA in the UK, overturning a requirement to pay the French insurer nearly €800 million related to payment protection insurance (PPI). AXA will now have to refund most of the amounts already paid.
