Turkey's Trade Ministry Fines Businesses 1.87 Billion Lira for Price Gouging and Hoarding

Turkey's Ministry of Trade imposed 1.87 billion lira in administrative fines on businesses during the first seven months of 2026. The penalties followed inspections of 282,153 firms and over 34 million products for violations including price gouging and hoarding.
