Turkey to Increase Fuel Tax by 3 Lira Per Liter Starting September 1

Turkey will reintroduce a fuel consumption tax (ÖTV) on diesel starting September 1, adding approximately 3.60 Turkish Lira per liter including VAT. This tax was temporarily suspended on August 13. No similar changes are expected for gasoline.
