Türk-İş: Turkey's Hunger Threshold Exceeds 35,000 Lira in May, Poverty Line at 114,576 Lira

According to a Türk-İş study, Turkey's hunger threshold surpassed 35,000 lira in May, reaching 35,174 lira, while the poverty line rose to 114,576 lira. The monthly cost of living for a single employee was calculated as 45,488 lira. Kitchen inflation increased by 1.70% monthly, with a 40.18% increase over the last 12 months.
