Turkey Increases Withholding Tax on Money Market Fund Earnings to 10%

Turkey has increased the withholding tax rate on earnings from money market funds and similar free funds from 0% to 10%. The decision, published in the Official Gazette, is effective immediately and applies to earnings accrued from the effective date.
