Turkey Aims for 20,000 MW Nuclear Energy Capacity by 2050

Turkey plans to expand its nuclear energy capacity to 20,000 megawatts by 2050, focusing on the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant and additional facilities in Sinop and Thrace. Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced this goal during a meeting with Rosatom's CEO Alexey Likhachev.
