Turkey Tightens Scrutiny on Hazardous Cargo Handling at Ports

Turkey's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, announced that 174 coastal facilities with hazardous cargo handling permits are under regular inspection. In 2025, ports handled 553.3 million tons of cargo, with hazardous materials accounting for 232 million tons.
