Turkey: Unemployment, Short-Term Work Payments Advanced to May 26
Turkish Labor Minister Vedat Işıkhan announced that unemployment and short-term work payments, originally scheduled for early June, will be disbursed on May 26, ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday. Payments will be made via banks for those with account details and via PTT for others; also included are partial employment payments, wage guarantee fund, and job loss compensation.
