Turkey's TMO Pays Farmers $200 Million for Grain and Poppy Purchases

Turkey's state-run Soil Products Office (TMO) has transferred approximately 6.3 billion Turkish Lira (around $200 million) to farmers' accounts for grain and poppy capsule purchases. Payments are ongoing and farmers will be notified via SMS.
