Uber fined €825 million by Dutch Data Protection Authority for automated driver account suspensions

The Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) has fined Uber €825 million for automatically suspending driver accounts without communication between 2020 and 2022. This marks one of the largest GDPR fines ever issued.
