UK to Introduce Financial Risk Checks for High-Spending Online Gamblers

Online gamblers spending over £1,000 in 24 hours will undergo financial risk assessments. The checks will be frictionless and document-free, with no impact on credit scores. A pilot found 97% of those above the threshold could be assessed easily.
