Volkswagen Sells German Factory for Defense Production to Israeli Firm
Volkswagen is selling its factory in Osnabrück, Germany, to Israeli investment company Aurelius Capital and the state of Lower Saxony. The site will be converted for the production of defense equipment, potentially saving 1,400 jobs.
