UK Water Bills to Rise for Millions as Suppliers Gain Approval for Increased Charges

Ofwat has provisionally approved five of 13 water suppliers in England and Wales to increase customer charges. The additional funds will support an estimated £3.4bn investment in repairing leaking pipes by 2030.
