1,800-Year-Old Byzantine Refrigerator Discovered in Osmaneli

An 1,800-year-old jar, believed to have been used as a refrigerator during the Byzantine era, was found during tunnel construction in Osmaneli, Turkey. The jar is now on display in the garden of Aya Yorgi Church.
