Nosferatu to One of Them Days: the seven best films to watch on TV this week

But the risk paid off. Eggers has managed to capture both the pervading sense of dread and stylish production design of the original, while deepening the mythology to make it more palatable for modern viewers. It’s a true horror, with every frame filled with foreboding. And now, after playing both Pennywise the clown in It and Count Orlock, surely Bill Skarsgård qualifies as the world’s scariest actor.
