Bellvitge performs Europe’s first kidney transplant using a single-incision surgical robot

Bellvitge Hospital in Barcelona performed Europe’s first living-donor kidney transplant using a single-incision robot. The patient was discharged after nine days, and the hospital has since completed two more procedures using the system.
