Elle Duffy: On a Scottish island, you'll find your saviour serving in a village shop
And for most nights, our saviour comes in the form of the village shop. It’s small, but mighty - I’ve likened it to walking into the TARDIS. Attached onto the side of our community hall, it is stocked to the brim with an incredible array of fresh vegetables, and quality meats from Lochaber Larder. This week, they have kumquat nestled in with the usual plums and bananas - a reminder that even out here, meals and snacks don’t have to always be the same.
