In an attempt to convince the rest of us that theirs is the party of democracy and social justice, Democratic members of Congress are swarming to El Salvador to meet with and attempt to free and bring back to the U.S. a Salvadoran criminal who was here illegally in the first place ("Federal judge temporarily halts order for details on any efforts to return Abrego Garcia to U.S.," Web, April 24).
