Over 1000 German Jurists Call for Ban Proceedings Against AfD Party

More than 1,000 German jurists, including lawyers, judges, and prosecutors, have signed an open letter urging the Bundestag and federal government to initiate proceedings to ban the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. They argue that political leaders should not hide behind pretexts and that the federal government has a duty to act.
