Appeals Court Clears New York City’s Pied-à-Terre Tax to Move Forward
New York’s appeals court reversed a lower-court ruling, allowing Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s tax on certain luxury second homes to move forward. A separate lawsuit challenging the tax’s constitutionality remains pending.
