French MP Proposes Fines for Headscarf Wearers if Party Wins Election

A French far-right National Rally (RN) party MP, Jean-Philippe Tanguy, announced that if their party wins the upcoming presidential election, they plan to impose fines on women who wear headscarves. Tanguy stated this is part of their strategy to combat "Islamist ideology."
