Germany and France Agree to Ease EU 2035 Combustion-Engine Ban
Germany and France agreed on a package to ease the EU’s planned 2035 ban on combustion-engine cars. It would allow continued petrol and diesel sales if automakers cut emissions by 90%; public incentives would apply only to EU-made vehicles.
