Ekrem İmamoğlu Declares Himself a Political Prisoner in Retrial

Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, facing retrial for alleged insults against former Tuzla Mayor Şadi Yazıcı, stated he is a "political prisoner" and "captive" due to politically motivated lawsuits. He highlighted facing 13 separate cases and 19 different judges in two years.
