Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez Expresses Desire to Run Again, Cites 'General Interest' for Election Timing

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez stated he is willing and eager to be a candidate again if his party supports him. He indicated that general elections will be called when it serves the "general interest" of Spaniards, not for partisan gain, and will not coincide with regional and municipal elections in May 2027.
