66 Million-Year-Old Sea Fossil Discovered in Ankara, Turkey
Archaeologists in Ankara, Turkey, have discovered a 66-million-year-old Gastropoda fossil from the Tethys Sea. The fossil, found at the 5,000-year-old Külhöyük site, may have been brought to the settlement by its ancient inhabitants.
