Germany Rules Out Five States in Search for Nuclear Waste Repository
Germany has narrowed the search for a permanent high-level nuclear waste repository to about 5% of its land. Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, Berlin, Saxony and Saarland are no longer under consideration.
